Palestinian gunman kills 8 in a Jerusalem seminary yesterday. Hamas claims responsibility and celebrations were held in the streets of Gaza.
Maybe Obama should go talk to them and see if he can straighten this mess out. It worked for Jimmy Carter, right?

I still think if we'd focus on becoming the world leader in alternative energy, we could let those worthless fools in the Middle East kill themselves.
It's really sad though - there are so many regular people over there who are as disgusted by all this extremist crap as we are... I often wonder why more secular movements don't spring up to pressure these idiots.
Oh yeah - they probably don't want to be blown to pieces...
they've been at war with us for a long time. they're really, really mad at us. if we stop buying their oil, then they're really going to be mad. then maybe they'll do something drastic like fly a plane into one of our buildings.
i would love to find an alternative source of energy. but nothing is readily available yet at a decent price.
most of our oil comes from Canada anyway. if we could drill here, we could greatly reduce our dependence on them for a period of time until we find and implement that alternative source of energy. but we're not allowed, because of environmentalists. they say they think long term, but they don't. i know, i know, global warming....ten years until the tipping point...no time...must act NOW....i get it....
