How about some new statistics...25% of teenage girls have an STD.
We all know who I blame...the entertainment industry (President Clinton had a hand in this to...I think oral sex rates among teens increased dramatically after the whole Lewinsky thing went down....no pun intended.)
The answer to this dilema? The more liberal people will tell you it's societies fault, then say we need to distribute condoms in the schools...perhaps even demonstrate how to use them on a banana.
Me? My answer is to scare the living crap out of them about sex.
Now the ironic thing is, that the liberals hate smoking and are all about the "Truth" commercials and showing people pictures of the extracted lungs of smokers. But apparently, casual sex is okay, as long as you're responsible. Here's a news flash. TEENAGERS AREN'T RESPONSIBLE! That's why we don't let them vote, drink, etc. No matter how much smarter you think our younger generation is than we were, they're still emotional rollercoasters...no...they're emotional trainwrecks.
If sex were just a physical thing, that would be one thing. But it's not. And when it is, that's bad for a teenager. Hey man, if you're old enough to deal with it, that's fine. Just don't ask me to pay your medical bills for the stupid mistakes you make.
Yes. I'm old and crabby. "You kids get out of my yard!"
