Going....Going....Gone!

Wow...strong words from Gov. Palin last night. Talk about holding her own. However, she's still new to the national scene, so there's still the "new puppy" excitement factor...

She's proved to me that she can be a vice president...I have a feeling that when she "hands it" to Biden in the debate, I'll be replacing the Bob Barr banner with a McCain/Palin banner...

...but not quite yet.

Still though, some comments that stood out in her speech:

-the one about the stryrofoam columns behind obama during his speech.
-of course, the pit bull/hockey mom joke.
-the difference between a mayor and a community organizer.

just to name a few...

...and Rudy was a great warm up act. they both used the democrats own words against them, which I believe, is totally effective.

Oh yeah...Obama is stepping into the "no spin zone" tonight. Gee.... what a coincidence...the far left crowd has gotta be hating that since Obama followed Edwards in boycotting the Fox debate during the primary. this might be Obama's chance to put it away.

At any rate, with all these dramatic, historical moments happening in our country, I think one party is going to win big or lose big. It's not going to be close come election time. ...but right now, it's up in the air.

i think we can all look forward to a Saturday Night Live skit featuring Tina Fey as Gov. Palin.

It's up in the air until the good ole' boy network rigs another election.

Is that not boring to you yet, at the very least? Do you think we can survive economically as a nation with THREE active war fronts (Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran)? If you do, you have a serious thought disorder and need mental counseling, drug therapy and a history lesson or ten.

you forgot Russia, North Korea and Pakistan.

the good news is that O'Reilly finally interviewed Obama ( i should say that Obama finally aggreed to an interview with O'Reilly,) so we'll get the chance to actually see what he plans to do about all of this.

I caught the first part of the interview last night. O'Reilly tried to pin him down on some answers, but Obama still remained kind of vague...but I guess, there's only so much you can say as a candidate.

Still though, kudos to Obama for stepping up to a tough interview.

It would appear that Tim Reaper is a typical name calling, mud-slinging, arugula eating Leftie who wants the government to wipe his bum after he makes a doodie.

Oooooo... take that! :)

I mean seriously though - why does someone whose opinion differs from your own about how our country should be governed require medication?

Grow up... or at least hang out at Daily Kos or the Huffington Post with the other Begala wanna-bes.

Wow, Scott. You totally have it ALL wrong about The Reaper.

@ dalai mama - **shrugs** I can only respond to what Tim Reaper says.

Besides, you didn't pick up on the fact that what I said about him being a "typical so-and-so" was meant in jest? You know, emoticon usage and such?

Whatever.

Dude. Could you be more abrasive?

I guess some people feel that the internet doesn't have enough loud stupid right wing asswipes, and feel a need to get in on the act. :-)

The emoticon means it's fine, all in good fun.

LOL

You're a hoot anonymous person who decides to daringly slam me. I marvel at your sheer bravery and cunning moral superiority. I'd even buy you an order arugula if I knew who you were...

At last check there are plenty of effete liberal whiners out there on the Internet as well... you appear to be among them... only you don't have the stones to share your identity. Big shocker there...

:)

All in good fun!

@ the dalai mama - abrasive is in the eye of the beholder. You don't know me, and if you did, you'd realize I am hysterically funny.

Case in point, then I will drop it:

Tim Reaper said, "If you do, you have a serious thought disorder and need mental counseling, drug therapy and a history lesson or ten."

@ dalai mama - if that ain't abrasive, I must not have a firm grasp on the definition of the word.

OK - dropped. Peace out.

Well, seeing as how The Reaper has been one of my best friends for the last 14 years, I am totally familiar with his sense of humor. I don't know yours, and you know how things these blog/message boards things are. When you don't know a person you don't know how they mean to come across. I probably would think you were hilarious in real life. I've got a great sense of humor.
